ARDEN WINDOWS has made a significant improvement to its environmental credentials by being awarded the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) ‘Chain of Custody' certification.

From the forest to the manufacturing, distribution and sales channel, to the final end-user, FSC Chain of Custody ensures that the softwood timber used to manufacture Arden's windows originates from well-managed forests that are FSC approved. Recent orders in the social housing market include supply and fit contracts for both Shaftesbury Housing Association (£373k+ contract) and Waterloo Housing Association (£500K+ replacement contract, pictured opposite). In addition to FSC Certification, Arden Windows also uses Boron preservative and water based paints that have significant environmental advantages over VOC based alternatives.
