Arden Windows Ltd. of Coventry, has a 25 year plus track record working with builders, construction companies and housing associations, manufacturing and supplying a wide range of made-to-measure windows and doors to meet specific needs. The company's reputation and success has encouraged them to increase investment in a new lean manufacturing initiative - in both management and new generation technology, to further improve company efficiency, products and services to meet growing demand. This included a substantial investment in key Weinig production machinery.

In conjunction with Arden's Klaes order management software system, it provides a means of prioritising and tracking the progress of individual orders throughout the manufacturing process. And, if a component is damaged at assembly, it can be replaced instantly.
In addition to enhances in software and machinery, Arden Windows has undertaken a comprehensive lean manufacturing process review to enhance customer service and to provide competitive efficiencies.
Says Paul Lee, Operations Manager of Arden, "I am delighted with the Weinig machines and the benefits we have obtained in production. They have given our products an excellent quality finish and a high degree of accuracy. Greater production efficiency and throughput means we can grow the company and guarantee our customers a superior product, with service and delivery that will please them".
